Inconel 718

Inconel 718 is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium superalloy prized for its exceptional strength and corrosion resistance from cryogenic temperatures up to roughly 1300°F (700°C). Its sluggish age-hardening response makes it readily weldable and formable, which is why 718 is the workhorse alloy for jet engines, gas turbines, rocket components, and high-temperature fasteners.
